What is the Total Number of Attempts Permitted for the UP Police  Exam?  

There is no official notification regarding the number of attempts. However, there is an age limit and other criteria the candidates need to meet in order to attend the exam. If the candidates meet the required criteria they can attempt the UP Police recruitment any number of times. If there is any change regarding the number of updates, we will update the same. Now let's discuss the full details of UPP - 

  • Only the citizens of India is eligible for this recruitment 
  • The age limit of male candidates is 18 to 22 years and female candidates is 18 to 25 years 
  • Height of male should be 168 cm and the height of the female should be 152 cm.
  • Running of male is 4.8 km in 25 minutes 

and for female is 2.4 km in 14 minutes 

  • Candidate must pass the 10+2 or its equivalent 

There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the UPP .Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want to be provided they satisfy the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

UP Police Salary- 

UP Police salaries vary as per the nature of the post. Police Constable/Fireman gets a Grade pay of 2000 with a basic salary of Rs. 21700 – Rs.69100. UP Police Head Constable's basic salary is Rs.25,500 – 81,100/-. UP Police Workshop Staff salary is Rs.21700/– 69100/- i.e, the same as a police constable. UP Police Head Operator salary is Rs.35,400/– 1,12,400/- i.e, same as Sub Inspector (SI). UP Police Assistant Operator salary is Rs.25,500/–81,100/- i.e, same as Head Constable.

UP police get many different allowances, bonuses, and other perks. These allowances include - DA, HRA, TA, CCA, Kitty Management, Dress allowances, and extra duty allowances. Apart from allowances police personnel also get a yearly Diwali Bonus, 01-month extra salary, Insurance cover, and NPS contribution 14% basic from govt side.

UP Police  Salary Deductions Details- 

To ensure the bright future of our frontline govt workers, the state govt deduct some amount from their salary. These deductions are 10% Basic for NPS, 12% of Basic for PF, and Rs. 100 per month as Insurance Cover.
