UP Police ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

UPP AGE LIMIT

The age limit for a male and female candidate are different  

The age limit is also different for all castes

UPP Age limit for Male(General) :

• 18 to 23 Years, Male candidates should complete the age of 18 years on 01 July 2021 and should not attain the age of 23 years.

UPP Age limit for male (sc/St/OBC):

18 - 28 Years

UPP Age limit for Female(General):

18 to 26 Years, female candidates should complete the age of 18 years and should not attain the age of 26 years.

UPP Age limit for female(SC/ST,OBC):

18-31 year 

 

Age relaxation:

• 5-year age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC Male candidates (18-28 years)
• 5-year relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC female candidates (18-31 years) 

UP Police EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Written Examination For UPP Recruitment:

• The written examination will be an online-based objective type paper.
•  Candidates need to score the required qualifying marks to make it to the next stage of the selection process.
• The exam will be an objective-based written exam.
• The exam will be of four different papers (General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and Mental Aptitude /Intelligence /Reasoning).
• The exam will be of 300 marks in total with 150 questions.
• Each question will carry +2 marks each.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. Candidates should make sure to only give answers to the question they are confident about. Giving the wrong answers would result in lower marks

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION:

All candidates who are called up for the document verification round will have to produce the certificates as uploaded at the time of registration. The documents the candidates need to produce will be of educational qualification, category certificate, etc. Once the documents provided are declared correct, those candidates will be allowed to the next stage of the selection process.

PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST(PFT):
