Indian Army TGC Entry Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate wants to apply to Indian Army SSC Tech the Eligibility Criteria divide by Age limit, nationality, Education qualification

 Age limit for TGC TEntry:

• 20 to 27 years as on 1 Jan 2022(candidate born between 2 Jan 1995 and 1 Jan 2022 both dates inclusive)

Education qualification:

• Candidates (only male ) who have passed/appearing in engineering degrees both are eligible to apply.
• Candidates studying in the final year of the Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 Jan 2023 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA).
•  Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.

Indian Army TGC Entry Selection process

•  The selection process is based on a short listing of applications, psychological, and aptitude tests, SSB interviews and medical examinations.

Shortlisting:

• The army will declare the list of the shortlisted candidates based on their graduation percentage 
• Aspirants get the call letter for the SSB interview

SSB interview:

• Now candidates go through the five days of the selection process.

Day-1 : Screening

Day-2: Psychological test 

Day-3:GTo

Day-4: Personal interview 

Day-5: Conference

Day-3: GTO (Group Testing Officers)

 GTO has been done in 5 stage

Day-4: Personal Interview

, This day is a final day in SSB interview SSB board conduct a conference where all  assessor present they assessed the candidate in previous days  they discuss and made a result of candidate on basis of 5 days interview

Medical:

• Candidate recommended by the service selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of service medical officers

Merit list:

Interview does not confirm final selection. A merit list in selection for every qualification subject separately purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at the SSB interview. those candidates high on the merit list and medically fit are issued joining instructions for pre-commissioning training.

Indian ARMY TGC Entry - Type of Commission

Grant of commission In Indian Army TGC Entry:

Short-listed candidates will be posted the rank of Lt from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at IMA, whichever is later and will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to Lt during the training period. Pay & allowances will be paid after the successful completion of training.

On successful completion of training, cadets will be granted short service commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.

One year ante date seniority from the date of commission will be granted to Engineering Graduates of TGC Entry in the rank of Lt.

Indian Army TGC Entry Training period

Selected candidates will appear  for training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to the  position of their the final merit, duration of training 49 week 

1. Candidates will not be allowed to marry during the training period. but they can live with his/her parents/Guardians. Candidates do not marry until they complete did not complete full training at the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Dehradun. 
2. A candidate who wants to marry during the training period will be discharged and liable to refund all outlay invested in him by the government.  
3. A candidate, who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful at the Service Selection Board interview or medical examination, will not be inducted for training, and his candidature will be cancelled.

Pay During Training Period If Candidate wants to withdraw

The entire cost of training is at Government exes.  In case the GC is withdrawn from the training academy due to reasons, not beyond his control, he will be liable to refund the cost of training @ Rs. 10247/- per week (or as notified from time to time) for the period of his stay at Indian Military Academy.

The final allotment of Arms/Services will be made previous to passing out of gentleman cadets from IMA. The candidate did not claim any objection in the event of his final selection on fixation of any arms/service in the interest of the organisation.
