8 weeks in Pachmarhi 

4 weeks in IMA (Indian Military Academy) 

Eight weeks of communication skill capsule at AEC center and college, Pachmarchi followed by weeks orientation training at IMS Dehradun.

SSB Interview Day 5: 

The conference day is the final day of the five-day SSB interview. The assessor gives a final address prior to the start of the meeting of candidates. All the officials who assessed the candidates the previous days attend a board meeting. The suitability of a candidate is discussed by each assessor.

 

The committee then makes recommendations after each Aspirant has individually appeared before the board and had their overall evaluation described. Situations are presented to the borderline Aspirants, and a decision is made jointly. The shortlisted individuals are retained for additional medical examination after the results are made public.
