NDA Passing Out Parade to be held on 30 May
On May 30, Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, the Chief of Air Staff, will oversee the ceremonial passing out parade of the 142nd course of the National Defence Academy (NDA).
Every year, two batches of cadets graduate from India’s premier tri-services military academy, which is based at Khadakwasla in Pune, to continue their pre-commissioning training at their respective forces’ academies—the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun for the Indian Army, the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, and the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala.
“On May 30, the official Passing Out Parade of the 142 Course of the National Defense Academy will be held.” The parade will be reviewed by Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, and Chief of Air Staff, according to a tweet from the defence PRO in Pune.
Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari, Navy Chief Admiral Hari Kumar, and Army Chief General Manoj Pande are all graduates of the academy’s 61st course.
