Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022: PM Modi inaugurates the biggest Drone Festival

Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, India’s largest Drone Festival, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. According to a statement published by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi will meet with Kisan drone pilots as well as entrepreneurs at the drone display centre during the drone festival event.

In addition, the Prime Minister will watch open-air drone demonstrations. Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, India’s largest Drone Festival, will be held on May 27 and 28, 2022, in Pragati Maidan in the national capital, according to a PMO release.

More than 1600 people, including government officials, military forces, central armed police forces, Public Sector Units (PSUs), foreign embassies, commercial corporations, and drone startups, will attend the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, according to the Prime Minister’s Office. The PMO stated that around 70 exhibitors would demonstrate diverse drone use cases during the Drone Festival.

The Prime Minister’s Office further stated that the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 will include a virtual awarding of drone pilot certifications, panel talks, product launches, and a display of a ‘Made in India’ Drone Taxi prototype, and flying demonstrations, among other things.

PM Modi recently dedicated to the country and lay the foundation stone for 11 infrastructure projects in Chennai totalling Rs 31,500 crore. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, these initiatives would stimulate infrastructure development, improve connectivity, and increase the region’s comfort of life. Apart from that, PM Modi recently attended the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad in Hyderabad, as well as addressed the graduation ceremony of the Post Graduate Programme Class of 2022.
