  • Each candidate is only required to submit one application.
  • Candidate may submit an application for Branch (a), (b), or (both)
  • On the basis of their first preference, the candidate will be shortlisted for SSB.
  • If the candidate is not chosen for the first preference, they may still be considered if a spot opens up in an alternative branch's SSB batches.
  • After being shortlisted for a branch, candidates will only be considered for that branch in the SSB and Merit List rounds of the selection process.
  • Regardless of merit, a candidate who has chosen only one branch will not be taken into consideration for it.

Educational Qualification

Passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent test from any Board with a minimum of 70% in the combined subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), as well as a minimum of 50% in the subject of English (either in Class X or Class XII).

Applicants who took the JEE (Main) - 2021 (for B.E./ B. Tech.) test. On the basis of the NTA-published JEE (Main), All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2021, a call for the Service Selection Board (SSB) would be made.

How to Apply Online for Indian Navy 10+2 B Tech Entry?

Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website @joinindiannavy.gov.in. The candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance under their user profile. The procedure for applying online is explained below. 

 

  • (a) Online (e-application):- Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:- 

(i) Correct filling up of personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate. 

(ii) Fields such as e-mail address, and mobile number are mandatory fields. 

  • (b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class mark sheet, 12th class mark sheet, JEE(Main) Score card {indicating Common Rank List (CRL)} and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. 
  • (c) If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason, the application will be rejected. 
  • (d) Print one copy of the online application form and carry it along with original certificates/documents while appearing for the SSB interview. 

Indian Navy 10+2 TES B Tech Entry Training

  • Selected Candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four years B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. 
  • On completion of the course, B. Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets amongst Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) will be as per the extant policy. 
  • The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy.
  • The cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing and messing.

Indian Navy 10+2 B Tech Entry -  Points to be Noted

  • In order to select applications for SSB based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2021, IHQ MoD (Navy) reserves the discretion to set the cut-off. Every applicant must provide their rank according to the Common Rank List (CRL) in the application.
  • SSB interviews for candidates who have made the shortlist will be held in Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam.
  • Candidates who are shortlisted will receive notification of their selection for an SSB interview through SMS or the email address they provided in their application. 
  • Before the screening process is over, candidates are warned against changing their mobile number and email address.
  • On the Indian Navy website, www.joinindiannavy.gov.in, you may find information about the SSB process.
  • Any condition in which the SSB interview location must be changed is prohibited.
  • Any correspondence pertaining to a future change in the SSB date should be sent to the Call-up Officer for that SSB. The availability of batches and slots will determine whether new dates for the SSB are given.
  • Any injuries incurred as a result of tests administered during the SSB Interview will not be compensated.
  • If applying for the first time for a specific kind of commission on the manufacturing of tickets, the AC 3-tier rail price is acceptable for the SSB interview. 
  • When applying, candidates must bring a photocopy of the first page of their bank account book or cheque leaf, which includes their name, account number, and IFS code.
