MNS aspirants who want to crack MNS Exam and serve the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET exam in an offline mode consisting of objective questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. A total of 200 questions  are asked in the NEET exam out of which candidates need to answer only 180 questions. As per the exam pattern, the questions in NEET will be divided into two sections – “A and B”. Here, Section A contains 35 questions while Section B consists of 15 questions. Candidates need to answer only 10 questions out of these 15 questions in Section B. Below is the detailed exam pattern with topic-wise coverage.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA-:

  1. Nationality- Citizen of india
  2. Age limit - Date of birth 1 oct 1997 and 30 sep 2005.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION -:

  • Candidates must pass in the first attempt, Intermediate examination (10+2) with physics, chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English with not less than 50% marks with a recognised board of india.

NEET (UG) SCORE -:

  • Candidate must quality the Neet (UG) examination that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

PHYSICAL STANDARD-:

  • X-ray examination of chest and USG 
  • Minimum height required 152cm and Gorkhas and Candidates belonging to North Easter region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be of minimum height of 148 cm.                     

SELECTION PROCEDURE-:

  • Candidate shortlisted based on merit of Neet (UG) Score.
  • Shortlisted candidates called for an objective computer based test i.e (CBT) including General knowledge  and General english of 80 marks. 
  • After that, candidates will appear for PAT (Psychological Assessment Test) , Interview  and Medical Examination.

A psychological assessment is a testing procedure that employs a variety of methods to generate some propositions about a person's behavior, personality, and aptitudes. It is also known as conducting a psychological battery on a person or as psychological evaluations.

 

Boys and girls take the same psychological test at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune. The purpose of this assessment is to better grasp the complexities of your personality and value systems. There are no acceptable or improper answers, but all responses must be honest.

 

In addition, the candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any impairment that would prevent them from performing their duties in the Armed Forces effectively.

 The Interview round conducted by the Board members consisting of officers of the Indian Armed Forces. The interview round plays a vital role in the overall proficiency assessment of an aspirant. Therefore, the candidates preparing for the MNS exam must be familiar with the questions asked in the interview round. Questions asked during the MNS Interview include

 

– Questions Related to Personal and Family Background

– Questions Related to Academic Background

– Question Related to Military Nursing Services 

– Question Related to the Armed Forces 

 

 

The major objective of conducting the interview is to analyze the compatibility of candidates for the Military Nursing Services. Most of the questions in the MNS interview are asked from the family background of the candidates, their educational qualification, and their perspective towards the military nursing services. During the MNS interview, the following are the important documents to be produced in original along with one attested photocopy of each.

 

 

 

– 10th or equivalent Certificate in support of the date of birth of the candidates.

– 10+2 or equivalent Certificate & mark sheet

– Interview Call Letter

– Aadhar Card

– Gap Certificate, as the case may be.

– Two latest Character Certificates issued from different Gazetted Officers.

– Bonafide certificate issued by the School Principal along with an attested copy of the admit card of the board examination in case of 12th appearing candidates.

– Domicile Certificate/Nationality Certificate (DC/NC ).

– Dependent Certificate of Army/Ex-Personnel, as the case may be.

– Certificate of SC/ ST, as applicable in case of the reserved categories

– Dependent Certificate (DC) of Army / Ex-Service personnel from the Competent Authority, as the case may be.

– NCC ‘C’ Certificate, if the candidate is an NCC Cadet 

– Certificate of Participation in the Sports Events at School/College/District/State/National Level, as the case may be.

– At least 10 Colored Passport-size Photographs

– Travel ticket for reimbursement of the conveyance charges

 

 

The competent authority has the right to revoke the candidature of an applicant in case she fails to present the required set of documents during the Interview. The TA will not be applicable in the event of not providing the required set of documentation. Therefore, the MNS aspirants are advised to follow the instructions carefully and arrange the essential documents to avoid any further discrepancies.


 

Physical Fitness- 

 

According to the military board, the applicant must be in good bodily condition.

The two main medical tests required, an X-ray of the chest and a USG (ultrasonography of the abdomen), as well as a physical health exam under the supervision of a medical board appointed by the DGAFMS.

The applicant must have binocular vision, fusion capability, and full-field vision in both eyes in order to be considered.

A physically fit physique with excellent physique is desirable.

Myopia and hypermetropia will be evaluated as part of the visual standard.

The bare minimum of visual action should be included.

Myopia is defined as less than -5.5D.

Manifest hypermetropia is defined as 3.5D is less than + 3.5D.

The Focus field of each eye has to be normal.

Color vision at the CP-3 level is required.

If the applicant wears glasses on a regular basis, the power of the lenses should be noted.

The minimum height needed and permitted is 152cm

The applicant’s minimum weight should be 39 kg.

When not expanded, the minimum chest measurement has to be 77cm, and when expanded has to be 82cm.

The scanned copy of the required documents also needs to be uploaded in the prescribed size and format. The candidate's email id is the user id for this website and the candidate will select her own password. Candidates must remember their username and password for all future correspondence. Candidates are requested to make corrections to the filled application form using the EDIT menu and ensure all corrections are made before final submission. No modification in the application will be possible after clicking the SUBMIT button.
  • All candidates (except SC/ST) will have to pay a sum of Rs 2001- only as application processing fee through ONLINE payment gateway. There is no application fee for SC/ST candidates. SC/ST candidates have to upload documentary proof. On successful completion of online payment a bank reference number (DU number) will be generated for the future correspondence of all candidates (except SC/ST) and a confirmation page will be displayed.
  • Candidates may take a printout of the duly filled application for further reference along with payment confirmation page
  • Once the process is complete candidates are provided with a provisional registration number (reference number). This number will be sent to the registered email id and phone number.
