SHORT LISTING THROUGH NEET (UG)SCORE:
The first stage in the MNS Selection Process is the NEET (UG) exam and its score. The female candidates will have to appear for the NEET UG exam initially. TEST OF GENERAL INTELLIGENCE & GENERAL ENGLISH (TOGGLE):
The third stage of the MNS selection process from 2022 onwards is ToGIGE. Moreover, the test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGglE) will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 MCQs of two marks each for a maximum mark of 80. Also, there will be negative marks of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. These 40 questions will be required to be answered in 30 mins.
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT TEST(PAT):
The fourth stage of the MNS selection process is PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT. Also, the PAT is a qualifying examination and the score will not be considered for preparing the final merit list. It is basically the test of psychology somewhat similar to the SSB interview of defence exams but not exactly the same. One of the major differences is that in SSB, GTO is there but in MNS there is no GTO.
The Board of Officers takes an interview as a candidate. A panel of 4-5 senior officers conducted an MNS interview. They select the best-suited candidates for the post of military nurse.
The MNS panel interview plays a major role when it comes to the final selection. In this, the female candidates are interviewed by a panel after they clear the NEET UG exam, MNS Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGglE), and Psychological Assessment Test (PAT).
The interview is the last stage of the MNS selection process. After a candidate clears the Interview and gets shortlisted, they are called for the Medical Examination.
Lastly, all shortlisted candidates will go through the Special Medical Board (SMB) at a designated venue. Candidates who will be declared FIT/UNFIT in the medical examination will be informed about their medical status with the reports. They can even make an appeal to the Medical Board.
