Understand the MNS exam pattern and procedure-

It's a two-step procedure. The first stage is a written exam that the candidate must pass. The SSB conducts a personality test and interview in the second stage. Before beginning preparation for the MNS exam, applicants must be informed of the exam format of the entrance examination. MNS syllabus-

Eligibility Criteria-

Academic qualification: 

Candidates who have passed class 12 exams as regular students with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core courses are eligible to apply for MNS.

Nationality:

 A candidate must be unmarried and either: 

(i)an Indian citizen, 

(ii) a subject of Nepal, or

 (iii) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided, however, that a candidate from categories (ii) and (iii) above is a person in favour of whom a certificate of eligibility has been given by the Government of India. A certificate of eligibility will not be required, however, for candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him/her by the Government.
