Describe the JAG Interview test.

The Indian Army's legal division is known as the Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Department. Army personnel with legal backgrounds who have received military law training make up the department, which offers comprehensive legal support to the armed forces.  Selection

Every year, the Indian Army issues a call for law graduates between the ages of 21 and 27 to apply for a Short Service Commission in the JAG department. The selection procedure includes the Directorate General of Recruiting.

Induction training

The Indian Army Criteria for JAG Eligibility

JAG stands for Judge Advocate General Arm, and it is the Indian Army's legal branch. It deals with disciplinary issues involving the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Army, among other things, and provides legal help to the army in human rights and the rule of law. The following are the eligibility requirements for the JAG 29 Course.

Procedure for Choosing a JAG Course in the Indian Army

  • Application Shortlisting: The candidates are shortlisted by the MoD. (Army). Candidates will be notified of their Centre allotment via email after their applications have been shortlisted.
  • Aspirants must go to the official website and choose their SSB dates, which are originally accessible on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • The two-stage selection procedure will put candidates to the test.
  • Those who pass Stage I will advance to Stage II. Those who do not pass stage I will be recalled the next day. The SSB interview is five days long.
  • Following the announcement of the merit list, candidates approved by the SSB and proven medically fit will be granted a joining letter for training.

Process of Interview Selection for JAG SSB

List Of Documents Required For The JAG SSB Interview

  • Matriculation or Equivalent Certificate to verify your birth date. [Certificates issued by the relevant board (CBSE/State Boards/ICSE)/admission card/mark sheet/transfer/leaving certificate, etc., containing the date of birth, are not acceptable proof of date of birth.]
  • Matriculation or comparable mark sheet.

  • In the event that original documents are submitted in order to pursue higher education. Candidates must produce a Bonafide Custodian Certificate on original letterhead signed by the Principal/Head of the institution where the materials were submitted.
  • Candidates in their final year/semester of a graduation degree course must be able to provide proof of passing to the Directorate General of Recruiting by 01 April 2019 and produce the graduation degree certificate either before or within 12 weeks of the course beginning at the Training Academy. Such candidates must bring the following documents:
