(iii) All candidates older and age whose date of birth occurs on the same day will be shortlisted for Stage II if both of the aforementioned criteria are the same for more than one applicant (PSB).
Only applicants who pass the initial round of the selection process will be qualified for Stage II. The ICG Centers in Mumbai/Goa, Chennai, Kolkata, and Noida will host this stage. The highlights of Stage II of the ICG AC Selection Process are as follows:
There will only be qualifying questions on the PSB.
It will contain the Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) and Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) (PP&DT).
Only English will be used for the CCBT, which will be an objective test.
The candidates are expected to speak and engage in discussion in English during PP&DT. However, if they choose to do so, they may also speak in Hindi.
Only those applicants who make the cut for Stage 2 will be permitted to participate in Stage 3 of the hiring process. The information about Stage 3 of the ICG Assistant Commandant Selection Process is provided below.
Candidates who pass Stage 3 will visit Base Hospital in New Delhi for a medical exam. Candidates who were deemed unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) are listed on the merit list because they have the right to appeal the decision and must appear for appeal medicals at a designated service hospital within 42 days of the SMB's conclusion. If the review is approved, the approved document specifies the hospital that will perform the review. No further appeals will be considered; the Review Medical Board's (RMB) judgement is final.
