ICG Eligibility Criteria

Age

      Minimum age is 18, and the maximum age is 22 (with relaxation for those who are OBC and SC/ST).

      Navik: All-Round (GD) Candidates for the Navik should have completed their 10+2 requirements with Mathematics and Physics as required topics. Class 10 passing is the minimum educational requirement for Domestic Branch (DB) Navi.

Education

      Yantrik (Class 10 pass): The Indian Coast Guard requires Class 10 pass and a 3- or 4-year degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics, or telecommunications for the position of Yantrik (Radio or Power).

      Yantrik (Class 12 Pass): Candidates with a 10+2 pass will need to complete a 2 or 3-year diploma in electrical, mechanical, electronics, or telecommunication (radio or power).
