EDUCATIONÀL QUALIFICATION FOR GENERAL DUTY:
- Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree candidates wherever applicable.
- Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 60% aggregate in Mathematics and Physics
- Candidates not in possession of Physics and Maths in 10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent level are not eligible for General Duty (GD)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR CPL SSA:
- Passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics subjects (at least 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics)
- Candidates who have completed a diploma (minimum 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics subjects) can also apply.
- Should possess a valid Commercial Pilot Licence issued by Director General of Civil Aviation
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR TECHNICAL(ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS):
- Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks, or equivalent qualification in any of these disciplines from a recognized university/ institute
- Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55%

SOME DETAIL ABOUT ICG AC SELECTION PROCESS:
SCREENING TEST DETAIL:
- Those candidates who fill the Application form are required to appear for the screening test.
- The screening test is MCQ type with a maximum 400 marks .The total number of questions are 100. The duration of the test is two hours. All India category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in Stage-I (Screening Test).
PRELIMINARY SELECTION BOARD(PSB)
This stage is conducted for the shortlisted candidates of Stage I exam. The test comprises Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT). The Stage-II examination is only of qualifying nature
FINAL SELECTION BOARD(FSB)
- FSB is 5 days process
- This stage comprises Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test).
- The board conference is held on the last day and at last recommended candidates are sent for medical examination
MEDICAL TEST :
- The candidates who clear FSB PROCESS go to medical examination at Base Hospital, New Delhi.
IF CANDIDATE MEDICALLY UNFIT:
- IF Candidates declared unfit in Special Medical Board(SMB) are included in the merit list, because the candidates declared unfit in SMB have the liberty to appeal the verdict and will report for appeal medicals at designated service hospital within 42 days of completion of SMB.
- If declared unfit during appeal medicals, they have the option for asking for a review of the results. In this case, the approval of the review is accorded from the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS) through the Directorate of Medical Services/GCHQ.
- If the review is approved, the designated hospital for the conduct of the review is indicated in the approval. The decision of RMB will be final and no further appeal will be accepted.
MERIT LIST:
- When a candidate clears the Medical examination the candidate in All India Merit List will be provisionally selected for training and are required to report at INA Ezhimala for Naval Orientation Course (NOC) as per the instructions.
- The All India Merit List is based on combined marks of SCREENING TEST and PSB Candidates reporting at INA Ezhimala for training are required to first undergo photo and biometric verification.
