Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968 (50 of 1968), a law passed by Parliament, formed the CISF as an armed force of the Union. The force's size, which had been created in 1969 with the aid of 3129 personnel, had expanded to 1,63,613 as of June 1, 2021. There are 74 other units in the CISF, including 12 reserve battalions and 8 training facilities. Educational Qualification

Candidates should have cleared /passed Matriculation or the 10th pass from a recognized Board/University.

Candidates who have not acquired the essential qualification as per the prescribed dates will not be eligible for the exam.

BSF AC Eligibility Criteria

SSC GD Age Limit

To apply for the post of SSC GD, Candidates should be in between 18- 23 years. The upper or minimum age limit should be 18 years and the maximum or upper age limit should be 23 years.

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern

As per the SSC GD Constable Exam pattern, the Tier 1 exam is an online, multiple-choice-based exam.

 The exam consists of 4 sections with 100 questions in total.

 The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam is 90 minutes.

 The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is conducted in bilingual languages – English and Hindi only.

 There is a 0.25 negative marking for every incorrect answer in the SSC GD online test.

 The questions asked in the online examination will be of High School (10th) level.
