Age Limit

To choose candidates for commissions as officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, UPSC holds the CDS exam twice a year. Candidates for CDS positions might be either men or women. Candidates must meet the requirements listed below in order to be eligible to take the exam:

    a person of Indian descent who has migrated to India with the purpose of residing there permanently from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African nations including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and Ethiopia or Vietnam.
