Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army 10+2 TES-

 

Nationality

A candidate must be an unmarried male and one of the following:

 

I An Indian national, or

 

(ii) A Nepalese subject, or

 

(iii) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above has been issued a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India.

A certificate of eligibility will not be required for candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility may be shortlisted provisionally pending receipt of the necessary certificate from the government prior to the announcement of the result by the SSB/joining the training.

 

Age Restrictions

A candidate must be between the ages of 16½ & 19½on on the first day of the month in which the course is to begin. Only the date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Examination or an equivalent certificate will be accepted by candidates.

 

No other age-related documents will be accepted.

 

Candidates should also be aware that once a date of birth has been claimed and entered into the records, no changes will be permitted on any grounds.

 

Educational Qualification

(i)Only candidates who have passed the 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry. The Indian Army TES - Commission Type

After successfully completing the four-year program, cadets will be awarded a Permanent Commission in the Army with the rank of Lt (Lieutenant). They will be given seniority based on the overall order of merit of the three technical institutes combined, namely CME, MCTE, and MCEME, and if their commissioning date coincides with that of IMA, Dehradun, they will be placed en-bloc junior to IMA (NDA/ ACC / DE Course) but above TGC / UES course.

 

TES 10+2 Training in the Indian Army

TES training will last 5 years in total. The specifics are as follows. Fundamental Military Training First and foremost, selected candidates receive one year of training at OTA (Officer Training Academy Gaya). Technical Education Following basic military training, candidates are given technical training. This technical education is delivered in two stages.

 

They are discussed further below.

 

(i) Phase-I (Pre-Commissioning Training): Three Years (CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or MCEME Secunderabad),

 

(ii) Post-Commission Training: 1 year at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, or MCEME Secunderabad.

 

Degree Presentation-

 

After passing the final examination, the candidates will be awarded an Engineering degree. Candidates with this Engineering degree will not be eligible for ante-date seniority. Officers will be allowed only one academic relegation during the last two semesters.

According to JNU Ordinance, this relegation will be one of the two allowed on academic grounds in the entire Engineering degree (8 semesters). Any further academic relegation of the officer will result in the termination of his commission.

 

How Do I Apply For The TES Entry (10+2) Scheme Online?

A candidate may make changes to incorrectly filled-in data in the online application until the online applications are closed.

Each time the candidate opens his application for editing, he must'submit' it. Following that, no changes to the online application will be permitted, and no representations will be accepted.

After successfully submitting the form, the candidate will receive confirmation in the form of a dialogue box that the application has been submitted.

Additionally, the candidate will be able to print the application with a Roll number 30 minutes after the online applications close.

Furthermore, candidates must print two copies of the application with the Roll Number generated by the system.

As a result, the candidate will bring one copy of the print-out application, duly self-attested, to the selection centre for the SSB interview.

As a result, candidates must submit only one application. Multiple applications from the same candidate will result in candidature cancellation.

 

Documents Required for Completing the TES Application Form

The Application Form will be accompanied by the following documents:

 

First, the original Class 10th certificate and mark sheet with DOB.

Second, the original Class 12 certificate and mark sheet are present.

Third, provide original ID proof.

Fourth, a copy of the JEE (Mains) result.

In addition, two self-attested photocopies of the certificates listed in ser (c) above will be submitted at the time of the SSB interview, with the originals returned after verification at the SSB.
