ARMY TES Entry Eligibility Criteria:

STAGE 1- SHORTLISTING PROCESS 

 

 A candidate who applies for  ARMY TES  ENTRY undergoes the shortlisting process.

• Short listing process based on candidate aggregate percentage in class 112th.shortlisting  process are purely reserved by the Integrated HQ of MOD(ARMY)

STAGE - 2 :SSB INTERVIEW

THOSE CANDIDATE ARE SHORTLISTED THEY CALL FOR SSB INTERVIEW .

SSB INTERVIEW IS 5 DAYS PROCESS 

 

(i)  Day-1: Screening Test

(ii) Day-2: Psychological Test

(iii) Day-3: GTO

(iv) Day-4: Personal interview

Day-1: Screening Test

 

• The Screening Test is completed in the following three steps.

1. OIR(officers Intelligence Rating Test)
2. PPDT(Picture perception Description Test)
3. GD(Group Discussion )

 

Day-2: Psychological Test

 

• Psychological test is divided into 4 parts.

 

           1.Thematic Apperception test (TAT)

2.Word Association Test (WAT)

3.Situation Reaction Test (SRT)

4.Self-Description Test (SDT) 

 

Day-3:GTO(Group Testing Officers)

 

• GTO task has been done in the following 5 steps.

1. Group Discussion(GD)
2. Group Planning exercise(GPE)
3. Progressive Group Task (PGT)
4. Group Obstacle Race (GTO)
5. Half Group Task (HGT)

 

Day-4:Personal Interview

 

• Interview Officers ask some personal questions which could be around your application detail  candidate fill in application .Some steps mentioned below which through personal interview has been done by officers.

2. Individual obstacles (IO)
3. Command task (CT)
4. Final Group task (FGT)

Day-5: Conference

 

• This day is the final day of the SSB Interview. SSB BOARD conducts a conference where all assessors present. They assess the candidate in previous days .They discuss and make a final result of candidates on the basis of a 5 days Interview.

 

STAGE -3 MEDICAL PROCEDURE IN ARMY TES ENTRY :

The medical in ARMY TES is the final process .They check candidates are medically fit for the role .During the process candidates stay in military hospitals during the examination.

• During the medical candidate provide a chest number 
• Candidates must require their chest number during the medical.

 

KNOW ABOUT REMEDICAL PROCESS  IN ARMY TES ENTRY:

If a candidate is not fit during the medical exam they can proceed for Remedical.. A candidate who wants Remedical  should address the request to Recruiting Directorate (Personnel & Coord), Army Headquarters, West Block III, RK Puram, New Delhi with a copy to the President of Appeal Medical Board within one day of the holding of Appeal Medical Board.

STAGE -4 MERIT LIST 

If candidates are passed in 5 days SSB INTERVIEW and MEDICALLY FIT  then the final merits list is published.

• The merit list is prepared purely on the basis of total marks obtained in SSB Interview and medical.
•  Those Candidates issue joining letters that are high in the merit list .

ARMY TES ENTRY TRAINING PROCESS:

The ARMY TES Training Process is a total of 5 year.

• 1st year training is held at Officers Training Academy , Gaya
• 3 year training that called Pre Commission Training at CME Pune Or MCTE MHOW or MCEME Secunderabad 
• Last 1 year Training that called Post Commission Training at CME Pune or MCTE MHOW at MCEME Secunderabad

Award of Degree after complete Training

• The candidates will be awarded Engineering degree after successful completion of Training Duration 
• In  the last two semesters, the officers will be permitted only one relegation on academic grounds.
• Total 8 semesters  in the entire Engineering Degree.
