ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INDIAN ARMY GD RECRUITMENT:

Eligibility criteria are officially published by the Indian Army  as is mentioned below a candidate you want to fill Army Gd recruitment must undergo eligibility criteria

Eligibility criteria are divided into AGE LIMIT ,NATIONALITY,EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION 

AGE LIMIT FOR INDIAN ARMY GD :

Candidates who are interested in INDIAN ARMY GD RECRUITMENT must be born between 17¹/² to 23 years.

The age of 23 is considered for only 2022.

NATIONALITY FOR INDIAN ARMY GD :

The candidates who are not originally from India must have a certificate of nationality issued by the Government of India. The aspirants belonging to Nepal or Gorkha are exempted from this and they are not necessarily required to have a nationality certificate.

A candidate must be-

  • All the candidates possessing the nationality of Bhutan and Nepal can apply for the GD in the Indian Army.
  • The Tibetan refugees who are settled permanently in India before January 1, 2022, are also eligible to apply. Also, check the Territorial Army Application Process here.
  • The candidates who have migrated from Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Uganda, Pakistan, Kenya, Burma the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire and Ethiopia, and Vietnam and are permanently settled in the country India can also apply to join the Indian Army.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR INDIAN ARMY GD : 

A candidate need fulfils the educational qualification that the INDIAN ARMY  required officially for the INDIAN ARMY GD RALLY.

educational qualification must be 

  • Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 33% in each subject.
  • All Gorkhas (Nepalese & Indian) – Class 10 simple pass (For Males)
  • Indian Gorkhas - Class 10 simple pass.

MEDICAL TEST FOR INDIAN ARMY GD 

  •  A candidate should have good mental and physical health.
  • Chest expansion minimum 5 Cms.
  • The candidate Should have normal hearing in each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes.

 He should be-

  • able to read 6/6 in distance vision charts with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III.
  •  Should have a sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum of 14 dental points.
  •  Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocele or piles.
  • Should recognize red and green colours.

COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION(CEE):

 INDIAN ARMY is conduct Common Entrance Examination (CEE).  for the recruitment of Soldiers. It comprises of following two papers : 

1.PAPER-I : paper I  questions on IQ/Numerical ability, General knowledge and current affairs. Duration of the papers is 60 minutes. Total marks 100 Pass Marks 32.

2.PAPER -II -  . It generally comprises Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Duration - 30 minutes, Pass marks-16
