SSB Interview

Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview is the process of assessing the candidates as per their suitability in Indian Armed Forces. SSB checks the personality of the candidate based on three basic techniques namely psychological test, Group Testing Series and Personal Interview and looks for 15 OLQ’s and potential officers.

Major Kalshi Classes develops the personality of an individual based on the standards of the SSB and focusses on assisted self-introspection under the well-developed infrastructure and under the guidance of Experienced EX-officers of the Service Selection Board (SSB), Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) and Naval Selection Board (NSB).

Day 0- DAY OF REPORTING

  • Document & Filling up of PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire) form
  • Allotment of chest numbers
  • Opening address

Day 01- SCREENING TEST

  • Officers Intelligence Rating Test (Verbal & Non Verbal Reasoning Test)
  • Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT)

Day 02- PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS AND INTERVIEWS

  • Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)
  • Word Association Test (WAT)
  • Situation Reaction Test (SRT)
  • Self-Description Test (SDT)
  • Interview of some candidates by President/Deputy President

Day 03- GTO TASKS AND INTERVIEWS

  • Group Obstacle Race /Snake Race (GOR)
  • Lecturette
  • Interview of some candidates by President/Deputy President

Day 04- GTO TASKS AND INTERVIEWS

  • Individual Obstacle (IO)
  • Command Task (CT)
  • Final Group Task (FGT)
  • Interview of the remaining candidates by President/Deputy President

Day 05- FINAL BOARD CONFERENCE

  • Final Board Conference is held and the results are announced

MEDICAL EXAMINATION

All the recommended candidates are retained for 4-5 days for the medical examination.
